CENOTE DIVING - CAVERN DIVES

A cenote dive involves exploring the entrance area of an underwater cave, where natural light is still visible and the diver can easily access the surface. Generally, cavern divers are within the natural light zone, providing them with clear visibility of their surroundings and the exit. Divers must be at least 15 years old and holding at least open water diver certification with some dives under the belt. No special training is required you’ll have an extended briefing about special technique for diving in overhead environment, team positioning, communication, body posture and buoyancy control and emergencies procedure.
2 dives per day.

Cave diving involves penetrating deeper into the cave system, where natural light from the entrance is no longer visible. Cave divers explore areas where the cave roof is overhead throughout the dive.
